什麼時候該加逗號？
逗號的常見用法
1. 列舉項目：用逗號分隔三個或以上的項目
YES: I went to the store for butter, flour, and milk.
我去商店買了奶油、麵粉和牛奶。
NO: I went to the store for butter flour and milk.
YES: She is smart, kind, and hardworking.
她聰明、善良又勤奮。
NO: She is smart kind and hardworking.
2. 連接兩個獨立子句：用逗號 + 連接詞（and, but, so, or）
YES: She studied hard, so she passed the exam.
她努力讀書，所以通過了考試。
NO: She studied hard so she passed the exam.
3. 轉折詞或插入語前後：however, therefore, in fact 等詞前後要加逗號
YES: This rule, in fact, applies to most sentences.
事實上，這個規則適用於大多數句子。
NO: This rule in fact applies to most sentences.
4. 同位語（Appositive）：補充說明名詞的片語，前後加逗號
YES: My teacher, Mr. Chen, is very patient.
我的老師陳先生非常有耐心。
NO: My teacher Mr. Chen is very patient.
5. 直接稱呼對方
YES: Thank you, John, for your help.
John，謝謝你的幫忙。
NO: Thank you John for your help.
